During the summer of 2014, I worked at Kaiser Permanente, a large Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) in California. In this internship I was able to apply my interest in health information access as I developed a tool to evaluate how closely online medical provider biographies aligned with member needs. I also worked with other interns on a group project which researched innovations which could be integrated into Kaiser's digital properties (apps and websites).
